I'm sorry if this is a repeat thread, but as you can imagine, Running a search for "Accepted" on this site virtually buries me in threads.

in this case I am talking about the movie Accepted, from (i think) 2007 with justin Long and Lewis black. I really like this movie, and I think we can all agree that most of the south Harmonites had some form of Autism.

I honestly can't tell though if the film portrayed autism in a positive or negative light

Pro: theme of non conformisim,
bashing overly stressed college environment
Bartelby probably has textbook AS
LEWIS BLACK :D

CON:
questionable protrayal of (probably autistic) characters like glen and he-who-blows-crap-up-with-mind
demonazation of college
the plot could probably never work.

thoughts?

P.S given the nature of my question, should this be moved to the aspie media representation forum?
