Hello. I'm new here and thought I'd introduce myself. I am a demisexual and I believe I may have Asperger's.

I have been struggling to figure out whether or not I have a place on the autism spectrum. I was tested, but not for Autism, as a child, and diagnosed with ADD.
But for the past four years I haven't helped but wondering if that diagnosis was a mistake.
I'll be getting testing next week though, so I guess I shall know then.

You'll probably see me around on the forums, and I'm also on AVEN a bit under the same name.

Welcome to Wrong Planet!

I am self-diagnosed on the Asperger's-Autism Spectrum and I'm comfortable with that. To me, what this gives me is kind of a conceptual whole that helps me better understand both the parts of my life that go well and parts that go less well.

For everyone it's different. For me, I don't experience physical attraction. I don't understand what makes one person better looking than another. It's close to asexuality, except demisexuals can experience sexual attraction, although only through emotionally deep and trusting bonds.
