Salted Caramel Frap

Only one because I’ll sit on my hands.

- strong espresso
- caramel syrup
- ice cubes
- pure vanilla
- half and half cream
- blender
- top with fresh whipped cream
- more caramel
- raw sugar
- rock salt as needed

Then collapse in a sugar coma

This could become a dangerous habit

Black coffee.. Starbucks Winter blend - must have been on sale at Costco I guess. It’s okay tasting, I’d buy it if it was cheap but wouldn’t go out of my way to pay a premium for it.

I'm attempting my annual 30 alcohol-free days, and am currently on day 12. One 'side effect' is that I've been unable to watch any films or TV programmes, as I've become dependent on wine or beer in order to concentrate on the storylines. Last night I tried alcohol-free lager and cider, and managed to get through a film. Not impressed by those drinks though - the 'lager' tasted more like fizzy tonic water, and the cider just like a soft drink (which is what it was, I suppose).

Alcohol free Guinness gets very good reviews:

Just ordered some so I'll post a review of it here.

Just having my morning mug of tea. I'm the same as regards alcohol and music. I can't enjoy music unless I have a glass of beer in my hand..

Having some alcohol free Guinness. Not bad at all. It does have a slight metallic aftertaste but probably the best non alcoholic drink I've tasted.

Back on proper Guinness. Won't be getting the alcohol free version again.
