On one hand, just like with the 90s, I have a favourite band in the 80s. On the other hand, I don't listen to nearly enough '80s music' to say I like it. I'm possibly curious about it, though.

It's some really great stuff. A Lot of the 80's jams were pretty radtastic.

I voted yes, love music from the 80's, it's probably one of the only decades that I love popular as well as metal /rock music from, also a great decade for films! My daughter loves 80's music too, she's 6 but probably knows more 80's songs then she does modern day ones. Ask her to name 10 bands/singers and guaranteed they will likely all be 80's. At the moment she's fixated on anything by Michael Jackson or The Clash.

Michael Jackson made some of the most catchiest music ever. 8O

She likes The Clash at 6? Wow, that's really great. :D

I live for 80s music! Makes me hate the fact I was born in 1990. Even if I was born three weeks earlier, I could claim I grew up with 80s music.

You will be pleased to know that 8 out of my top 10 all-time favourite songs are from the '80s. :P

The 80s were a great decade for music. Especially because music was at a low. It inspired many bands to create music of their own. I feel the same way about this decade. I am still waiting for THE band to come. I'll see.

I like...

- My Bloody Valentine
- U2
- The Smiths
- The Stone Roses
- Spacemen 3
- Primal Scream
- Echo and the Bunnymen
- New Order
- The Jesus and Mary Chain
- The Cure
- Depeche Mode

And last year I got into Tears For Fears. They're great. And they have interesting lyrics, too. And I sometimes listen to Graduate. They were a ska/new wave band that Curt and Roland were in before they founded Tears For Fears.

One of my recent discoveries are The Innocents (1982). But they're more of a fun band to me. And they only have one album. Nothing happened after that.

And I love "West End Girls" by the Pet Shop Boys. I saw the video on TV in 2003 and ever since I love the song.
