Sound quality in Windows Media Player vs. iTunes

On Windows, the sound quality for playback of MP3 files seems to be better in Windows Media Player than in Apple's iTunes.

Anyone else notice this or know why?

I hadn't noticed, but I do much prefer iTunes' seamless playback - very, very useful for symphonies with movements that are supposed to be played without a pause between :)

I think itunes is a bloat (not sure for about mac)
When you install it.

It installs other crap onto your pc like additional services ect

I'd rather media player

but as for sound quality I am not sure
