This is for anyone on WP in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, or Iceland.

What kinds of architecture, landscaping, and home design (both exterior and interior) are common in your part of the world? Pics preferred.

Have you thought of looking on Flickr for this kind of stuff?

Also: you mean the Nordic countries, which are Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Iceland.

For architecture, landscaping and exterior home design look around at Scandinavian cities and towns on Google Street View would work too.

That still leaves interior home design although this site is somewhat representative.

I know that those countries, as well as Germany, are considered the birthplaces of contemporary architecture.

Are places like Reykjavik, Oslo, Stockholm, etc. mostly contemporary/minimalist in terms of architecture, or are they mostly dominated by older, classical or medieval structures. What would the approximate ratio of older to contemporary be in those cities?

In this case, contemporary = 1950s-present.

As for landscaping, is there a certain type associated with that part of the world? (similar to rock gardens being associated with Japan)

its very different, this weekend i might have time to upload some pics.

some areas have a large amount of postmodernistic architecture others are built in an entirely traditional style.
