I happen to walk on my tiptoes, and have done so since I could walk. I would like to know, men, if that is is a particular turn-off?

Nope, probably cuz I walk the same way without shoes on. My foot arch was never corrected when I was younger.

No, shouldn't be an issue, though I'd be thrown a little off guard if it was brought up in a conversation :?

Nah. I couldn't care less about her walking on tiptoes.

Now, being ugly and/or fat, that's a turnoff.

Does wearing heels help you look like you aren't tiptoeing? Or is there a foot problem that causes that? I don't tip toe, but oddly enough when I'm in a big hurry and running all out fast, I do it on my toes.

It's part of my sensory issues. I dislike the feeling of the floor on the balls and heels of my feet. It started when I started walking. I remember that the ground made me cry. So I suppose that I compromised with the floor and tiptoed. It's ruined my Achilles tendons, and I've been to physical therapy for the tendinitis it's caused me, but I can't stand the feel of the ground. It's like sandpaper or a dusty blackboard. Makes my skin crawl.

I used to do that as a child but was trained out of it. I still do it sometimes but not as often as my balance isn't as good as it used to be.

Well, if it's one of your sensory issues, all the more reason to be accepting of it, right? If someone's turned off by it even after you explaining it's a sensory thing, they might not be the best person for you. Full stop.

Holy crap, I do that too, and I'm a guy! 8O

I thought I was the only person with a habit for walking on tiptoes.

It wouldn't bother me, in answer to your question

I do the same when I'm barefoot, I just walk with a gait in footwear.

OP: Were I dating a woman that did the same thing, I'd likely find it cute. I can't imagine why it would be a turn off.

It would make you look weird, and you should learn how to stop doing it.

Most people don't like weirdos.

^ it's ok to go mainstream in that matter, the normal walking is healthier anyways.
