Okay, i didn't think this belonged in the religion, so i just posted it here.

i think that the loch ness monster is either a myth or a huge sea serpent. big foot is also questionable and and so are the UFOs.

You forgot to include "religion", the most commonly believed-in myth.

I am an agnostic when it comes to many "myths".I dont believe in much of any thing that isnt completely "provable"<---is that a word?I just dont believe it isnt true ,unless completly provable, even if very improbable,as some people might accuse me...."I am so open-minded...my brains have fallen out."

In some cultures, people paint their front doors red for good luck.

"What myth do you believe in?"

A question beautifully calculated to bring out my Aspieness.

Believe in as myth? Well all of them. They ARE all myths.
Believe as true? Well, if they are true, how are they myths?

(brain starting to hurt at this point)

Is there a category of "true myth"?
Is the true function of myth independent of its truth?

(I could spend a day or two just mulling that over...)

Favourite myth category: the Norse Gods, if they qualify.
