Oh yes David Bowie has to be a Aspie a lot of people in history have had autism.

I don't know that much about Bowie (might come as a surprise, considering my profile), can you explain?

Hey Bun this link might help explain it better then I can some times I'm not good at writting the thoughts in my head in a post.
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_david_Ro ... s_syndrome

There's nothing about Bowie in the links, though. Not that I'm dying to know, but I guess it evaded me because I tend to view certain things as normal while others don't. :P He comes across as funny and having a bit of an attitude in a good way.

Jim Carrey
That guy from Joy Division
Possibly King George (one of them)

Now for someone that is obvious Pip Brown (Ladyhawke)

Aw, when I've seen Control, I thought parts of his personality were similar to ASD.

[But I think there's only room for one post-punk Aspie power couple - Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant. Though my more likely hypothesis is that they bring out the 'Aspie' characteristics in each other, and that they weren't always like this anyway - there's a lot more eye-contact in the band during the Evergreen period, if anyone were to look into it. I wish the ideal state would have continued and we'd still have Les, but that's not the way things are.]

Anyway, about Ian Curtis - didn't know him, mind, but I do remember the part of Control where he was rushed to hospital, and one of the bandmembers commented on his usual behaviour, which I can only paraphrase right now - 'We'd have to start worrying if he did speak'. What a darling, shame about the loss.

Wilko Johnson, the guitarist from the 70s band Dr Feelgood has always seemed to have autistic-like mannerisms to me.

I think almost everyone who had anything to do with alternative rock. U2 has some traits, their guitar tech is for sure. Kurt Cobain had the eyes. Joey Ramone, David Byrne, etc etc.
