Difference in Aspergers and high functioning Autism?

Is there a difference or is it pretty much the same thing? Because Aspergers is Autism, but much more high functioning. So would it also be called high functioning Autism?

Because this thread isn't already made once a month...

AS is a diagnosis, HFA is not. HFA usually refers to people with Autistic Disorder that have higher intelligience. There are a few technical differences between AS and AD, which are usually summarized as AS has no language delay when being compared with HFA.

They are close together on the spectrum. Very often, by the time someone reaches maturity, or sometime after, they become indistinguishable from someone with Asperger's. The major difference that I have come across in my research seems to be language delay in HFA.
