Well, we have:

The Avengers
The Dark Knight Rises
Prometheus
The Amazing Spider-man
Total Recall (yeah, I know, but I'll probably go see it)

I'm sure there's more I'm missing, but these are flix I'll pay to see in public (I sometimes go years without seeing movie in public)....

So, what do you guys think? Is this the best summer movie summer evar!!1!?

What's on your must see list?

I'm super excited for Dark Shadows! I've been obsessively keeping track of its progress since before production began. Johnny Depp is going to be awesome as Barnabas Collins! I'm glad they're making the movie a campy comedy instead of a melodrama (unless the trailers are lying, which they sometimes do). Everyone in my family thinks it looks good too, though they're probably just humoring me since they know that Tim Burton movies are serious business to me.

No. I'm not a Burton or Depp fan especially, but I think the movie might be pretty funny.

I'll be adding it and MiB3 to my movie list.

That's really encouraging! I'm glad I'm not the only one going to see Dark Shadows. :)

The thing that would make it perfect in my mind, is if the Star Trek movie was going to be released this year (like it was originally supposed to).

But the rest of the movies coming out this year should be pretty good.

Sound of My Voice

Safety Not Guaranteed

{Both have time-travel as a plot element, in Sound of My Voice, a reporter and his GF investigate a cult leader who claims to be from the future. I might talk my uncle into seeing this with me since he is...you guessed it, a reporter. In Safety Not Guaranteed a man looks for someone to accompany him in time-travel.}
