Eh, I'm not the varsity football, but if you'd genuinely enjoy playing football and are not doing entirely to try to raise your social standing, go for it.

Physically, though, might be a bit ridiculous. Probably wanna be squatting and deadlifting at the very least in the 200s to survive on the field. Some high school football kids squat and deadlift in the 400s and are big dudes by anyone's standards.

If you're just doing it to get chicks, just do ballet.

JV yeah, but not varsity. Most people on varsity started out on JV. You could get pretty strong in as little as 2 months.
