Why can't NT people date aspies like us? Because we get jealous when we see a couple together. (i know i've said this numorous of times on this section)

Hmmn, a week ago I would have said "yes its possible!" but now I'm not so sure.

I've had a few NT girlfriends but every one ends up only being able to tolerate me once a week maximum.

I'm an NT married to an Aspie. While he wasn't dx'd when we met and married, I always knew there was something different about him.

It probably helps in our relationship that I'm no social butterfly, and in fact probably suffer from some social anxiety issues, so we are similar in nature.

Getting his dx has made things a lot better in our relationship, I've been able to stop blaming myself for a lot of things, and realize it's no one's fault, it just is.

We also have a son with AS, and an uber-NT daughter who drives us both to distraction!

It can be done, but like all things in life worth having it takes a lot of work, and two people willing to do it.
