For those of you who can receive HBO -Game of Thrones- is a romp and a half. My favorite character is the dwarf Tyron Lanister played by Peter Drinklage. He is soooo cool.

I hate swords and sorcery stuff normally, but I have lots of time for GoT and Dinklage is godlike.

Lurve Game of Thrones. Dinklage hits it out of the park every time, especially the latest episode, "Blackwater".

Game of Thrones is awesome! I've only seen a couple of episodes of the first season, but I mean to catch up. Tyron Lanister is one of my favorite characters, along with Lord Snow and the platinum-haired brother and sister who lived near the sea, and the brother wants to take back the throne so he made his sister marry into a tribal culture so they would be his army (I hope everyone knows who I'm talking about)

I haven't watched the series but oh my good the books, the books! At least once I read one of them 16+ hours straight.

The next one doesn't even have a release date so meanwhile... I guess I'll watch the series or something~

I agree, too bad there's only one episode left in the season, I would have preferred twelve episodes but ten should do.

Here's a preview of the season 2 finale.

Haven't seen any of season 2 yet, but I have to agree with several other posters, Dinklage is just fantastic in this.

If I see anything else with his name on it, I'm going to check it out.

Was at my buddy's house yesterday and he had the season 1 DVD's so we made it through about 4 episodes and now I'm hooked. Finally getting back into some good TV - GoT, Borgias, Fringe all have me interested now.

It's rather good. Season 1 had me hooked the whole way through, Season 2 wasn't quite as good but it had some episodes that I liked. I'd rather reread the books than rewatch it though.

I just realized how much I miss reading Tyrion's parts. And... damn I can't discuss things of the fifth book, spoilers!

Oh my gosh! I love this show! Arya and Tyrion are my favorite characters.

I really hope that nasty, baby killing little king gets offed.

You'll have to get used to waiting, I've been reading those books since I was 12 or 13 (i.e. literally spent half my life waiting for the next book to come out). It takes a lot of patience, expect it to take at least 2 more years for the next book to come out.

HBO is doing a fine job with the books. My fav character on tv is tyrion, I'm really impressed how well cersai has really come into her own last few episodes. I don't know where they found Brianne, but that was excellent casting. In the books, I love me some Davos, I'll hold my tongue there though.
