I was in McDonald's this evening, and on one of the screens were the numbers of orders which were ready for collection. Numbers 68, 71 and 72 were displayed, but also 5f8bd9 (or similar). That's the first time I've seen a McDonald's meal in hexadecimal. Was someone having a joke perhaps? Can't work out how that could have occurred otherwise.

A nurse takes a dentist's blood for blood work. When he removes the needle, the dentist's blood squirts a little. The nurse says, "You're not flossing enough."

A cute video of a cat opening a door to let his dog friend into the house. The cat looked like my Peter and did exactly what I have seen Peter do.

friend and i were making jokes about how bad the endings of Sherlock (BBC) and Lost were. It was funny to us. Theorising all the different endings the writers (or us as the writers) could have taken.

Headline in a fairly recent UK newspaper:

"Pensioner deals crack from his old folks home"

I know that's 'not funny', but it appeals to my sense of the absurd.
