This quote I read about a music video:

Quote:
To the young ones out there, I make this declaration. If we dropped any one of you into the middle of the 1980s, and you spent just one weekend there, you would beg not to be returned to the 2020s, even before we knew about COVID. Of this I am certain.

It is so true!

As a musical term for sure, "the '80s" imply the late '70s and early '90s. You can think of them as tapers of this golden decade.

I asked my friend to help me name my basil plant, but to not suggest "Basil", so now I have a plant named Lasib... lol

Oddly enough.. being mocked in a humorous way by someone. :D

Most of the time I find it offensive and makes me very socially withdrawn. People are cruel.

My mom, my NT sister and I are snickering at the thought of Derek Chauvin (the Minneapolis cop found guilty for murdering George Floyd just today) spending the rest of his days in jail.

Many parts of episodes of "FBI" and "FBI: Most Wanted" that I watched with my family.

Yes. Very well written TV series that had to have experience in government to write it.

John Bull is a national personification of the United Kingdom in general and England in particular, especially in political cartoons and similar graphic works. He is usually depicted as a stout, middle-aged, country-dwelling, jolly and matter-of-fact man.
