How are you doing in school?

I'm doing well at everything, apart from the lessons.

I entered a Wikipedia search for the BBC News journalist Guy Hedgecoe, and got this result (magnification may be required):

Some dialogue from an old episode of Only Fools And Horses.

Trigger: I'm going to a funeral tomorrow, Del. My grandma's died.

Del: Oh, I'm sorry.

Trigger: No, it wasn't your fault, Del.

"Try not to post when drunk", said one of the mods in a post directed at another member earlier today.

Bloody Hell, I need to be drunk to post on this site most of the time these days....

On the game New Horizons I've been trying to turn my island into a forest by engulfing it in trees. I checked my island evaluation today and Isabelle told me that there's "an overabundance of trees" and that my villagers "are getting lost in the woods and fearing for the worst". It was amusing because the whole idea is that they should be living in the woods. lol

I love this clip, but then again it's pretty ridiculous. The Scottish football team qualified for the 1978 World Cup in Argentina, and the singer reflects the hopes of a nation. Scotland didn't win the World Cup, in fact their overall performance was pretty disastrous (notwithstanding an impressive result against Holland in their final match).

Even in the UK, most people today have probably never heard of the legendary BBC Rugby League commentator Eddie Waring, as his last broadcast was in 1981. For some he was the authentic voice of the game, but others felt that he damaged its image. The song reflects the latter attitude to some degree, but it's not entirely unsympathetic, I feel.

A Dell Latitude E5410 laptop for sale on Ebay right now. It's described as 'refurbished', but the vendor then adds that it doesn't have an operating system, a hard drive, any memory, a battery, a charger, a working clock battery, a wifi card, and one or two other things. Still priced at £60 though, only about £20 less than you need to pay for one of these in excellent working order.

There's also a completely dead battery for an old Thinkpad for £7.80, and a working battery for £212.
