Hello, what is your favorite genre of music? And why do you like that genre? Just state your name and your opinion. I'll use myself as an example: my name's Kim and my favorite genre is rock music, mand I like because I feel like someone understands my struggles and problems. So, that's my story, what about yours? :)

My name is Quentin, and my favourite musical genres are nineteenth-century classical music and classic/psychedelic rock.

For me it is classical because I find that it is one of the more emotionally charged forms of music out there.

My name is Dunc, and while I like a wide range of genres (mainly varieties of rock with some folk and electronica thrown in) my favourites are post-rock because of the epic soundscapes, and post-punk in most of its forms because of the thrumming basslines and spikiness.

I don't really have a favorite, but my top favorites are industrial, alternative rock and pop-punk.

In metal it's death/black metal, in rock/alternative it's new wave.

Hardcore punk and anything influenced by it.

Because it's aggressive.
