Hello everyone!

Since getting a provisional diagnosis through my University (my official diagnosis through the GP is pending) I have been keen on meeting up with other Aspies. Most of the year I am located in Cardiff, however I am also located in West Wales for several months!

So anyone else from Wales with Aspergers, post here and we will see if we can get something going!!

Request to Admins/Mods: Can you please post this on the Regional Discussion Thread Index Please!! !

Noswaith dda! I'm from Wales, but no longer there! Just wishing you luck on linking up with others: a report on the BBC news website suggests that services for autism in Wales are in some disorder, so I hope you are able to get the swift and competent diagnosis you need!

Hey all!

Never seen a welsh thread before, I live down south in the urban areas, though I hope to move up to somewhere like the valleys one day...

I love the Valleys: I began my work career in Aberdare (Cynon Valley), but it is much cleaner now, and the beauty of the hills is breathtaking.

I believe it is still wet though: when I arrived I was told to ignore the BBC weather forecast and just use the local method. 'When you can see the Maerdy Mountain it means it's going to rain. When you can't see the Maerdy Mountain, it's raining already!' Classic!

I'm too fond of the Welsh, spotted this thread and thought it was a good time to say Croeso to the remaining Welsh on this board. Plus I'd like to learn some Welsh. I have relatives who were born and bred in the valleys.

Hmmm, well over a year since a post on this thread. Quietest I ever knew the Welsh, for whom the word chopsy was invented
.
I'm English but live by the coast in South Wales. I love it here and wont ever go back.
I'm self diagnosed, high functioning, borderline aspie, I think.

Only discovered this year but it immediately made a lot of sense to me.

Is there any point taking it to a GP? I can't see what difference it would make anyway.

Hello Everyone, slap on that fake grin and grind through this stuff one more time.
