That think that you are just egoistic or shy, because you don't make a contact with them? In my childhood my whole family treated me like a little harmless boy and though that I was just scared of people, in school I was teased pretty often because of my appearance I looked much younger thanmy real age. Some kids though that I was just selfish and hated me.

It is a hallmark problem of people on the spectrum. Warped social perception. We misread social cues from others, we respond a little off, they misread our intentions, and so on.

Let go of the expectation that anyone is going to see things the way you do. Let go of the expectation that you will be able to accurately read other peoples signals. In this way we can begin to communicate, by setting aside our assumptions.
