Never anything from television but I have reinacted scenes from books before.

If youve never hid in a storm drain wearing a clown disguise and holding a balloon to see the kids reactions when you ask them if they want one as they pass by you have got to try it :P

Its not that I hold a grudge about having my spelling corrected, but its
e-o-s-t-r-o-g-e-n - lol

Do you suppose that e-o-s-t-r-o-g-e-n is a good a-p-h-r-o-d-i-s-i-a-c?

The only problem is that if you ran into my daughter, this is the conversation that would happen in my house:

[door slams open]
Tish: DO WE HAVE ANY GASOLINE?
Me: We've got some for the chainsaw in the garage.
Tish: That's the gas/oil mix, right?
Me: Yeah...
Tish: It'll still burn, right?
Me: I think so, yeah.
Tish: Thanks!
[door slams shut]

Me: Wait, what?

My former roommate and I watched the movie Henry Fool numerous times. I caught myself many times back then speaking in the pedantic manner of the title character. Ha...kinda funny. Gooooooooood movie!

Do you ever feel tempted to use someone elses words(from a movie, other people or whatever) even if it's in a situation where no one could possibly know you are doing it(or even notice the difference in your speaking)? I'm not neccisarily singling out "unusal" expressions, but just day to day stuff?

I can't think of a good example(I can't make it happen, it just does). I'll try to make one up: if there is a character on tv that says: "i must proceed to the school!" I might be tempted to use that expression when I am explaining that I am going to school. No one would know I am using their words and it's not a memorable quote, but maybe if feels safer to recycle their words? :P It feels weird even thinking about it, cause if it happens, it's basically automatic.

Hey me too!

when I do that with closer people, I end up adding "obscure quote from [some show or movie]"

Yeah I often quote movies etc.

My favourite one is, "That's my name. Don't wear it out, Maximillion or I'll make you buy me a new one." (Batman Returns -- Selena Kyle/Catwoman to Max Shrek)

I often shout “YOU ARE GOING TO LEAVE ME PSYCOLOGICALLY SCARED HER!:” the clown from Ren & Stip: when I often talk about traumatic experience that I had that comes over very funny.

I have a strange fascination with little things. And with TV shows/movies as one of my top things to obsess over, I will sometimes find the smallest movement a character makes interesting, and will spend a half hour rewinding and replaying in slow motion, fast motion, pausing. Oh gosh. I do this when I'm alone, though.

OMG I do the exact same thing!! ! Even if it's something in the blink of an eye, it will have just so much meaning to me. If I'm lucky and my camera will cooperate, I can get screenshots of it.

No such thing as a useless skill.

Having good recall is great for exams.
