Howdy!

I recently got some results back from an evaluation, and while I know what the summary means, I'm curious about the stats. In particular, some test called the "Vineland-II" test I think was the one I'm particularly interested in understanding - I'm looking online but I'm not seeing particularly useful information on it to help me personally interpret my scores (of course among other observations!). I'm particularly interested since the evaluator noted in particular that I had a very large difference between my cognitive score and ABAS score, even moreso than many adults with some form of ASD.

Anyone got any information on how this works?

I suggest that you request a meeting with the evaluator to discuss the assessment report and ask questions. When my son was assessed we had a meeting, which lasted for over 2 hours, and went through the report in detail. It was very helpful and meant that all aspects of the assessment could be explored with the professionals involved.
