Not all of them.

If you are a faux nice guy, you would know it. Are you respectful of women with the hope of getting a relationship in return?

Not at all, I am direct and truthful in my approach, I don't suck up or ego stroke and I'm certainly no white knight.

That doesnt mean that you arent respectfull to them.

As long as your intentions are clear from the first moment you are being more respectful to the other person than quite a lot of people they´ll meet on daily basis

No because I give respect to those who show me the same level of respect.
I wouldn't pursue a relationship unless both parties were on the same page.

One of many cliches. It truly comes down to the individual person. Some may be this way and not realize it.

I like to think this is more the case. Many of them really do think they are being a nice guy, simply for having (usually) pleasant thoughts and attempting to please people a lot.

I didn't know that aspies were considered overly optimistic people in general. Some research links would always be helpful, because personally I have no idea either way.

Oh my, yes.
It's namely a trend to look on good things rather than not.

Exactly, if you treat all with fairness and equality, you aren't being a nice guy with an ulterior motive, you are being someone that is simply kind natured and treating others the way you want to be treated.

Some laws go too far in my opinion and people can jump to assumptions over someone just being good or kind natured, holding a door open for a woman can be considered patronizing or sexist in the United Kingdom.

:? Not all of them think that, most are rather privileged. What kind of women are you seeing? 8O
Not one women has said that it's patronizing or sexist to leave the door open when they are approaching the entrance.
