Yep. Quite a few, even, however most of them domestic musicians, so unknown to foreigners. Did meet and shake hands with Bill Clinton while he was president, though.

Because of my interests, I meet quite a lot of famous artists, especially photographers, but also painters
And some of my university professors are famous in their field of interests

Maybe that persons are not world-famous, but country-famous, and some of them Europe-famous
