Yes. I have endometriosis. I think there is another thread about it.

Have you seen a doctor, are you on the pill? There are things you can do that help. I don't love the pill because it makes me gain weight, but it does help.

My period cramps get so bad it feels like I am constipated and it also gets to my legs. It isn't always this bad every time and it lasts one or two days. I take a pill for it and then it's all gone.

I don't think this is an aspie thing because there are even NT women out there who can't do anything and have to call in sick because their period also effects them so bad it impairs them. They can't just pop a pill in and bam they are normal again. It doesn't work with them.

Oh, yeah. Its almost like Hell has moved into my belly for a party
It hurts so bad, even a heating pad and advil barely help, and I'm afried to take anything stronger. The worst is usually limited to the first and last day/days. And even other women just pooh pooh and say and can't be that bad.

Because many aspies are, extra-sensitive to pain.

I'm on the pill, I hate taking any kind of medication but think it is helping.

I used to get horrible period pain too. The pill really does help with that problem. It shouldn't make you gain very much weight, no more than 5 lbs or so. It did give me nasty headaches, though. Something to think about.

My painful periods stopped altogether after I had my first baby. Not a solution, obviously, but maybe a light at the end of the tunnel?

This. I might be an unusal aspie as I don't have much period pains. Menses makes me feel really gross and uncomfortable, but it doesn't hurt that much.

I almost threw up on the 14th because I woke up with bad cramps. Midol doesn't really help. I bleed heavy.

I virtually don't get periods. I get no pain and only spot for 1 day. This happens every few months.

Mine aren't too bad, but sometimes I need to take an ibuprofen. I only get cramps on the first day.

I didn't know that this was an AS trait!! ! I used to throw up all the time from debilitating period pain. I've since learned how to control it with IBUprofin (lots of it...not sure how healthy that is). One time I even had to leave class to go throw up from the pain...ugh! Interestingly though, I'm typically hypo-sensitive to other kinds of pain. Hmm.

Mine used to be worse until I started taking Yaz for my acne. Best pill I ever took.
