Do you startle people?

No, people startle me. People know I'm gentle, meek and stupid, just by looking at me, so nobody's scared of me. But I just get startled by other people, if strangers stand right in my personal space in shops, or if somebody puts a toddler near me.

this thread made me laugh. I also seem to startle every one.

I am a large ex rugby player yet people get startled when I approach them it's awesome and worrying that someone my size can usually go undetected

No. I couldn't sneak up on someone if I tried. I walk really loudly and can't help it. I get yelled at for waking people up if I walk through the house at night. Plus they'd most likely hear me hitting my elbow on a door frame, stubbing my toe on something, or running into an object.

You're all a bunch of sidlers.
