According to the Bible, God doesn't want anyone to look Him in the face (although He did once moon Moses).

He doesn't like to talk to people; when He does, they almost always misunderstand Him.

And everything He created, from the greatest galaxy to the smallest particle, spins.

GOD IS AUTISTIC!!

That song is one of the tackiest, cheesiest, corniest religious poptunes ever made. :eew:

It could only have been written by an NT.

THe only thing good about the song is that it popularizes the idea that a diety doesnt have to have the answers. You could have a diety that was just as confused as everyone else about the ultimate answers.

But people that are prone to worship don't really care about the diety unless he gives them answers and presents. It serves no purpose otherwise.

Ugh, such nonsense!

It's 'if God were one of us'.

wasnt that the point of the jesus story?

God being "one of us" - that is- taking the form of a mere mortal human "slob on the bus"?

Ditto that. Also, since God created us in His image, if you want to see God just look around.

You can safely assume that you've created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do

Nope. Because the statement "What if God was one of us?" is a counterfactual and uses the subjunctive mood rather than conditional.

Well I think He's all of us, collectively.
