A thread to say what's the most likely song you will play depending on your mood...
So I'll give you a few of mine so you get the idea. :)
Energetic - Song 2 by Blur
Depressed - Today by Smashing Pumpkins
Silly - All Star by Smashmouth
Fantastic - Times Like These by Foo Fighters
Lovesick - The Kill by 30 Seconds to Mars or Miss You by blink-182
Chilled - Corner of the Earth by Jamiroquai
Annoyed - Nobody's Listening by Linkin Park

I generally keep my music upbeat. I stay far, far away from music I know is going to make me sad or unhappy.

I can't verbalize how I feel very well. But listening to music definitely helps with the emotional things. It's more about what emotions the music will invoke for me, so I use music to more or less control my emotions. When I do play music, usually it's to invoke like, experience, I guess, remind me of a past event, etc, and the events would pretty much only apply to me. I can't say the emotions the experiences made me feel very well, but then I use a song to like, replay the experience I guess. It's sorta weird. I don't really like "dark" or "angry" music very much anymore, though, as I don't wanna replay dark and angry experiences.

So here's some songs I like, I guess, apply your own emotions to them I guess.
Kyosuke Himuro - Kiss Me
Kiyotaka Sugiyama - Sayonara Ocean
Shenmue - Shenfa (Vocal version)
Ryuichi Sakamoto - Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence
TM Network - Beyond the Time

I do like songs that encourage me, while still evoking experiences. Songs like this Gundam opening:

Gundam 08th MS Team - 10 Years After

But yeah.

Let me try:

Happy: 'Breathe In', by Lucie Silvas

Sad: 'Provider', by N*E*R*D

Angry: '40 Oz' by D12

That's it for now.

Off the top of my head -

Energetic: Electricity by Suede.

Depressed: Nothing Lasts Forever by Echo & The Bunnymen

Silly: Dan Abnormal by Blur

Fantastic: Not entirely sure what it means in this context... The second verse of Faith & Healing by Ian McCulloch is a bit dream-like, but it's not a happy song naturally.

Lovesick: You Really Got Me - The Kinks, I Only Think of You - The Horrors, Something Changed - Pulp

Chilled: The Vaselines - Son of a Gun

Annoyed: Yes by Manic Street Preachers

Depressed: 'Push And Pull', by Nikka Costa

Silly: 'Doing Our Own Dang' by Jungle Brothers

Fantastic: 'The Edge Of Heaven', by Wham!

Lovesick: 'Ai Dake Ga' by Emi Hinouchi (Japanese)

Chilled: 'Boogie 2Nite' by Tweet

Annoyed: 'Fat Lip' by Sum41

Songs that make you feel over the moon, feel good about oneself... that sort of context.

Many emotional songs are also in the depressive music thread.

In that case, Stormy Weather by EATB would be more fitting.

Comfortably Numb, featuring Bob geldorf, David Gilmore on acoustic and electric guitar, and a stunning young lady on cello.

Oh yes, the title has often described how I have numbed down my feelings
