I didn't like the writing so much as parts of the ideas she herself created. Wizards and magic? Already thought of. Mythological creatures? Same. Flying broomsticks? Uh-huh. 'School' with students with special powers? Yep; X-men.
Some foreshadowing the the Elder Wand in previous books would have helped her story a lot too imo. She may not have won the nobel prize, but there is a theme park based on her books and she won't have to worry about getting her kid(s) through college.
