Not surprisingly, one of my #1 shows of all time is Seinfeld. And I can tell ya why:
-The humor is very much anything we can relate too.
-It's always funny to watch bumbling Kramer.

I have so many reasons why I love the show, but these are all I can put my finger on. :D

That's one mainstream TV show that I absolutely love too! I can't stand sitcoms but still watch this show almost daily. All four of them are such great actors and they really work well together. I doubt we'll ever see another show as good. It's not a show about nothing, it's a show about everything and that's why it's so popular.

I've only seen a handful of episodes but I enjoyed most of them. It makes the nihilistic side of me giggle. The "Nothing Pitch" scene is something I listen to regularly when I want to feel ticklish.

I own all 9 seasons on DVD; I can see why I did. :D

I always thought of Seinfeld as the funniest comedy in TV history. One thing really going for it was how it never pretended to be a drama, like Roseanne constantly did. They knew the whole point of their show was to make people laugh, not to put on "thought provoking, tear jerkers."

It's one of my favorite shows. I love the episode where they spend the whole episode waiting to get in a Chinese restaurant and the host calls their name right after the leave. That's the definition of humor.

I still remember the first episode I ever watched. They were at a mall trying to find their car in the parking lot while carrying a large, heavy package. The entire episode. And one of them got arrested for public urination and they lost the package (which I think was a TV set).

Okay--I just said I remember it, not that I remember every single detail. It's one of the few episodes I've only seen once.

I love Seinfeld. I consider Seinfeld to be one of the last truly great cultural phenomena to come out of the united states. Every episode is pure gold. I think that's so rare for TV. They usually let shows go on for so long after they've become terrible.

I went to New York 12 years ago, and got to see the restaurant, or at least the exterior of what was supposed to be Monk's Cafe. Turns out it was on a soundstage in LA, and the restaurant shot was that of Tom's Restaurant; which still operates to this day. :D
