So I love metal every kind.........from heavy metal to death metal. Does anyone relate to this sort of music? I posted a topic before for just black metal but to be honest I cannot limit myself to one kind of music.

I'm not too into death metal myself, but I enjoy heavy metal, nu metal, power metal, symphonic metal, alt metal, basically every other sub-genre of metal. In terms of relating to the music I find that nu and alternative metal are best. It's hard to relate to Blind Guardian's LOTR-esque lyrics, for instance, and most power metal lyrics.

Occasionally, I might break out a metal album, but it's really been classical music for me most of the time.

I am massively into music - Music playing and production is sorta a long-term special interest for me. I like quite heavy music but draw the line at the non-stop-atonal-shouting type of metal. As long as there is still a hint of melody left in the vocals I normally enjoy it. Off the top of my head here are some of my favourites:

- The Black Dahlia Murder (death)-
- Gorgoroth (black)
- All Shall Perish (apparently They're deathcore but IMO They're more Technical Death Metal (one of the fastest and most brutal subgenres check it out!)
- Suicide Silence (deathcore)
- Decapitated (one of the best dm bands ever I think)
- Asking Alexandria (okay, no dm.. But described as metalcore, singer growls like a vocalist for a DM band though)
- Suffocation (death)
- All other Dm bands lol
