I guess the Family Guy/Star Wars episodes are technically comic sci-fi. Prometheus would be "poorly written" sci-fi.

I have 2 ideas for sci-fi novels in mind, one more fleshed out than the other. One would be pretty conventional spaceship-stuff and one a kind of mystery/horror on an alien planet, featuring a mysterious disease. But my executive dysfunction keeps me from actually writing anything down. :(
