What, no mention of Paul McCartney? Unlike most Bond theme songs, Live and Let Die still gets radio play regularly.

I actually am really liking the theme for Skyfall, it has the feel of classic Bond theme songs more so than that horrible song by Alicia Keys and Jack White from Quantum of Solace(Though, I still really liked the movie, despite a lot of people hating it for some reason).

James Bond was one of my first special interests. Brings back happy memories.

Roger Moore or Sean Connery are probably my candidates for the best Bonds. I remember my favourite film being From Russia with Love in the past but that might've changed now. I'll have to watch the films again.

Clive Owen was probably the most obvious choice to be the next Bond.

I'm sure I would have gotten to him eventually...I just didn't want to bore everyone with a terribly long list.

I also quite like the Skyfall theme. It's got that sexy smokey old jazz feel to it. Adele genius!

Total Film gave Skyfall 5 out of 5 stars, so i'm definitely going to see it in 2 weeks time. Daniel Craig's 007 is more of a moody "Kill first, ask questions later" pitbull kind of Bond.

But the best Bond flick is always going to be Goldfinger. How can you not go wrong with the gadget-laden Aston Martin DB5, Oddjob and his razor-rimmed bowler hat, Shirley Bassey's classic theme and a plethora of legendary quotes such as the "Shocking, positively shocking" line or "Oh, he blew a fuse."

But the best line of the movie comes when Bond is about to meet a very painful end at the hands of a laser beam whilst he's tied to a table. In short....

Bond: Do you expect me to talk?
Goldfinger: No, Mister Bond, i expect you to DIE!

And that's precisely why Owen was the wrong choice. As much as I like Pierce Brosnan, he was only chosen because he was the safe, obvious choice. His Bond movies are entertaining enough, but they feel routine; they were exactly what everyone expected. The filmmakers needed to take a chance and follow him up with someone who wasn't so obvious, someone who had a few surprises to offer. I love Owen, but Craig was the better choice by a mile. (And from what I've read, Owen had no interest in Bond anyway, so he probably wouldn't have brought much enthusiasm to the role.)

And back on topic, my favorite Bond film is Licence to Kill. I love Dalton, and it was the first film to really portray Bond as Ian Fleming wrote him. It's actually a much better adaptation of the Live and Let Die novel than the Live and Let Die film was.

And from what I've read, not only was Clive Owen not interested in Bond, he also didn't like how women are portrayed in the Bond movies. One other reason the studio let go of Pierce Brosnan as Bond is because around the time Casino Royale began pre-production, he was let go because he was asking for too much money to play Bond again.

Returning to topic, even though I've not seen all of the Bond movies, my favorite Bond movie has to be between Dr. No, Goldfinger, or Casino Royale.

Skyfall was great I saw it at the first showing in the cinema. I didn't get some of the jokes but the action was fantastic. Everyone should see it!

Best bond is Daniel Craig. He brought a more realistic view to the series

I've liked his movies since I was 14. I still like him even though he uses women as objects and will sleep with any lady rather he likes them or not or dislikes them or not. My favorite is GoldenEye. My favorite James Bond is Pierce Brosnan.

I love the Bond films as well. I have all of the them in my DVD collection, except the spoof version of Casino Royale with Peter Sellers and Woody Allen. didn't care for it. Always had a soft spot for Roger Moore's Bond because I grew up with him. I still can recall seeing A View To A Kill in the movie theatre. I must have been 11 at the time. I have also always liked Dalton's Bond in The Living Daylights. I don't think he got a fair shake. If he'd have done a third movie maybe more people would have liked him in the role. I thought the ending of Skyfall was good. Looks like we're going back to Connery-style Bonds in the future.
