Do you have a whole list of things that you intentionally avoid (often because of anxiety)? I tend to avoid the following:-

-People who own dogs that are liable to bark
-Going past garden gates where I know there is a dog that will suddenly jump out and bark at me
-Groups of teenagers
-Being out alone late at night
-Places where bells ring (ie, schools)
-Icy pavements
-Going to a city on my own
-Trains/underground tube trains (especially in London)
-London itself
-Airoplane journeys that take more than 6 hours (I hate jet lag)
-McDonald's/BurgerKing in the school holidays
-Going to my grandmother's at week-ends because everybody in the family gather there in one little room
-My brother (because he's annoying)
-Being criticised (avoiding people who I know are prone to insensitively criticise and lecture)
-Social events like weddings, birthday parties, going out in evening to bars, etcetera
-Sugar-free mints
-Being out when the school kids are all coming out of school/getting buses at this sort of time
-Jobs that involve interacting to customers
-Eye contact with strangers
-Clothes shops (if I can)
-People who are prone to unexpected tummy bugs (ie, small children)
-People with a tummy bug

Yes, my life is pretty hard trying to avoid all these, but I do! Anyone else got things you try to avoid?

Looking up at tall buildings.
Rude people.
Cashiers. I'd immediately use a self checkout machine if I can because a lot of cashiers are annoying.
Large groups of people walking down the sidewalk I'm on towards me.
Loud people.
People with the common cold.
I also avoid yelling. If I need to talk to someone I will come up to them and talk instead of yelling out to them like most people.

My job forces me to be in many situations that I would be rather avoidant of in my normal routine, so the following list is somewhat based on circumstance.

Strip Clubs
Bars
Alcohol
Illegal Drugs
Women who reject me
Dressing formally
Arrogant people with too much self-confidence
Parties
Night Clubs
Certain foods
Horror movies
Outgoing people
Unfamiliar businesses dealing with things outside my comfort zone
Needles. They terrify me.

I avoid other teens that drink alcohol and do drugs, I see no point in doing it.

You avoid sugar-free mints because of anxiety?

I don't avoid many things, but those I do are mostly new, unanticipated situations. Situations where I have little or no frame of reference.

I do not often indulge in:
Inebriation (because I don't like it, and I may do something I normally wouldn't)
Going to new places alone, on a time limit
Talking about things of a sensitive nature (mainly my emotions)
Assosciating with self assured drunkards
Watching 'adult' scenes or humour with other people present
Staying away from home (it's not safe)
And don't judge me, but I try to avoid the working class (or the permanently subsidised)

There are other things I get embarassed about, like receiving compliments, but they don't cause sizable anxiety.

-Groups of teenagers. PTSD from my middle school days. I just assume that a large congregation of teenagers = a large congregation of stupidity and immaturity.
-Babies/toddlers
-Bars/Clubs
-Drinkers
-Drug users
-Stereotypically NT women
-Douchy men
-People talking about sexual things. I don't want to hear about it.
-Loud people
-Fast Food
-The ghetto grocery store in my town
-Answering phones
-Stupid people. Which is extremely hard because of the overwhelmingly high amount of them everywhere.
-Top 40 garbage music/rap/Mexican music/angsty nu-metal style music
-Movies catering to the lowest common denominator (most current comedies)
-The majority of television
-Large crowds
-Wal-Mart. It's more like a trashy feak show that sells low quality crap made in China while mistreating their employees at the same time.
-Facebook
-Dressing up
