I tried dating women my height, and they all said they were looking for someone taller.

I'm 6 feet tall.

Also I have found my height doesn't play any factor in getting any man or woman I want. Once I hit a certain height, it ceased to matter. When I was a few inches shorter, it did effect peoples reactions to me negitively. I also have to watch my weight a lot. A tall willowy girl = non threatening and pretty and elvish. A tall broader woman makes people think "SNOO SNOO".

My boyfriend is about my height. I tend to be attacted to people my height or taller? Why....I think it is just my field of vision when in a room. scanning faces at my height is easiest.

yes, i've tried online dating for the past 4 and a half years now, such as OkCupid, Plentyoffish but no luck

I tend to attract short women due to being tall most of them tell me they feel safe around a tall man...also I can reach stuff for them.

I tend to attract shorter women too, a lot of tall & short women see me being 5'9'' as "tall", when just like in your case Aspie Otaku, short women have said to me that they feel safer around tall men. :shrug:

But what does height have to do with anything?

Being 6'3" I generally prefer taller women. Those are exceedingly rare though. The guys I've dated were always around 6', and the girls I've dated have always been 5'4" for some reason. Height isn't a huge deal. It's nitpicking at most, but it would be nice to land a girl that I didn't have to practically kneel down to kiss.

For some reason all the tall girls who live around here tend to be relatively conservative and totally unwilling to date a bi guy.
