Here's my list.

1. Walking back and forth in home.
2. Listening to the same song again and again.
3. No eye contact when having a conversation.
4. Attention to small details that are not worth discussing.
5. Sitting in weird position when on computer.

Or to put it another way, things NT's do that Aspies consider weird:

1. Slouching in chairs for hours on end with no movement.
2. Never listening to any song twice (even songs they claim they love!)
3. Obsessive insistence on staring directly into our eyes.
4. Talking superficially about 100 topics without discussing anything meaningful in any of them.
5. Many of them all sitting the same way in front of computers for the sake of agreement.

2-3-4, I find annoying. 1-5, not so much.

1. I show up to parties when the invitations says that the party will start.

2. I prefer a good science-fiction programme on the telly over any sports programme.

3. I use words like "Programme" and "Telly", even though I live in California and am not British.

4. For that matter, I use the word "Trousers" instead of"Pants" when referring to men's outerwear.

5. I can prepare and serve a five-course meal for eight from scratch.

6. I have a Citizens' Band radio in my car.

7. I get upset when people lie to me, steal from me, or break something that they've borrowed from me.

8. I correct the spelling in other people's emails before replying to them.

As I've gotten older, that actually becomes more common in the NT world too.

Good topic.........

I have the ability to be highly adaptive and thus conceal many give aways of being in the spectrum, however, the more at ease I become in life the more by aspie mannerisms show themselves.

* When I say goodbye it means goodbye and I leave without small-talking for hours on end like most non-autistic folks.

* I always leave social events early.

* Excessive Routines

* Ticks (mostly covert, but when stresses overt)

* Unusual preoccupation with interests

* Make unusual sounds that make me feel less stressed

* Sence of humour very out the box

* Socially rather able, but very intense and direct

*Fluid in body, but unable to convey emotions

I like to show up to events when they say they will start, too. 90% of the time, though, once I arrive (even if a few minutes late!), nobody's truly even close to ready to start and it's as though I'm way early! I'd rather have it like this, though, than be late when they actually start on time!

I am asoical. I prefer to be alone when I go to events like barbecues and I sit down and read or do the computer or play my game. If I have my child with, I am with him alone watching him so at least that is an excuse.

I get upset when plans change the last minute or when thing don't go as planned

Showing up at places at the time they start or come a little late knowing it's not some event like class or a movie theater or when people are leaving to head somewhere.

I pace, I obviously do it more than normal people or else it wouldn't be a problem for them

Talking about the same stuff over and over (to me it's all different stuff)

I rock back and forth

Listening to nursery rhymes on MP3
Fancying fat bus-drivers
Keeping moths as room pets
Writing stories about bus-drivers
Having my mum go to appointments with me
Avoiding lots of things like dogs, teenagers, et cetera

God knows what else.

Hm.

Wearing long sleeved sweat shirts in the heat with bounce sheets in my pockets to fend off wasps. I also keep my hands tucked in the sleeves.

I've put a lid on it, but I've done yoga in my chair at school.

I flick dying worms out of puddles on walks in the spring. I can't stand to see them suffer, especially since people created these conditions. I also use my heel to drain puddles.

I do the Monty Python ministry of silly walks-walks.

I assure profs my earplugs are not listening devices on tests. It really bothers me not to point this out as I fear they will think I am cheating.

I lose track of time when I am daydreaming out the cafeteria windows.

I can get really wound up over something I am excited about and overwhelm my listeners. Then I can go stone cold quiet and disappear.

If I say I will call someone at a certain time, or they ask me to call, I sit and watch the clock so their phone will ring at the exact moment.

etc,etc,etc

Eating the same food everyday. Wearing the same clothes and shoes. Having the same hairstyle. My walk. My talk. My interests which are more boy-like and also my personality. My beliefs. My tastes. They told me i have unusual stare and gestures or that I appear blank. Because I hate going shopping. I'm too negative. I don't believe in love. I find many noises distracting. I have too much energy sometimes. I don't like their 'jokes'. Because I'm asocial.

etc. etc.

I used to leave peoples houses without telling anyone.

I'll watch the same movie several times per week. It used to be several times per day when I was a kid.

I'll listen to one song over and over.

I have very specific ways of making food that some have commented as kinda weird.

On the occasions I am at a party, I'm pretty quiet and don't really interact with people unless I know them very well.

Not good at maintaining eye contact.

Don't talk that much.

All of these have been commented upon at least once. Some, many times.

Cut my hair the way that Mick Avory has it in my avatar and that was in the January of 1964. I don't have a problem with my hair the way I cut it this morning. It goes well with my inner Male, and the most current year on the calender at all times, is just a cluster of four numbers to me.

It's the naturalists who have a problem with it. The ones who say that people are the genders that they're born and that's that. They don't have to look at me, if they don't want. They can look at their partners and children, instead - or crushes for that matter.

Ageists are just as bad. I just ignore them. 8)

Lol back in the olden days when I was still a teenager when I use to smoke cannabis. I was always known as the guy that wouldn't move when high, I could sit for 2-3 hours without shifting posture. Apparently it was supper hard on my joints, something I'm paying for now. :D

In other words, just being myself is enough to drive many NTs to drink.

I figured out the average listeners to Gogol Bordello's Sun is On My Side on you tube from (August?) 2010 until I discovered them in about April of this year. I have been keeping track of the numbers of listeners since then and I believe I have contributed to the 1000 extra hits a month this video has received since 8O

@Stoek
You smoked cannabis in the 50's?
