All on his own, without any prompting, he shared a piece of his cookie with me. Politely and appropriately, without being silly and shoving it in my face and pretending to feed me :D . And without getting upset and asking me to spit it out and give it back after I bit into it.

He just spontaneously said, "Here you go, Mommy," and gently took my hand and pressed the cookie into it.

Nice! :D

Do something similar for him (like be eating something you know he likes, and offer him a bite/piece/whatever.) It'll teach him reciprocity.

These seemingly little things are so awesome to witness! Sometimes I wonder if all the therapy, social skills classes, etc. are doing any good then I see the result in a spontaneous action like this and I think, yeah, its all worth it! :) Thanks for sharing your moment with us!
