All on his own, without any prompting, he shared a piece of his cookie with me. Politely and appropriately, without being silly and shoving it in my face and pretending to feed me . And without getting upset and asking me to spit it out and give it back after I bit into it. :lol:

He just spontaneously said, "Here you go, Mommy," and gently took my hand and pressed the cookie into it.

Nice!

Do something similar for him (like be eating something you know he likes, and offer him a bite/piece/whatever.) It'll teach him reciprocity.

These seemingly little things are so awesome to witness! Sometimes I wonder if all the therapy, social skills classes, etc. are doing any good then I see the result in a spontaneous action like this and I think, yeah, its all worth it! Thanks for sharing your moment with us!
