I like texting because it doesn't involve eye contact, but it can be really confusing because I never know if someone's being serious or sarcastic, or if they're happy or sad. Decoding what someone really means is hard enough when face to face- it's even worse when I don't have someone's tone of facial expressions to hep me out.
