I might get paid to help my mom's friend clean up a job sight again. If I get some spending money I would like to order more books or more tarot cards and a fancy box to store them in. :)

Oh God blabbs, It was awful.

I spent 15 minutes walking in circles looking for butter.
Left the trolley with my daughter thinking I'd just grab it.
It wasn't in the dairy section, near the milk or the cheese.
I thought I was losing my mind.
I started doubting whether butter was even dairy.
Nearly googled but my phone was almost dead.

Finally found it.
Saw something else at the same time (4 boxes) but didn't have my trolley.
Tried to carry all five.
Thought she was at one side of the store.
Went there but she was at the other side.
My leggings were falling down to my knees under my coat.
I couldn't pull them up because my hands were full.
Seriously debated flashing the store since I was commando.

Found daughter.
Tried to leave.
Had to do self-service checkout for about 50 items.
The normal ones were closed.
I can't do self-service so daughter had to do it.
Thank God she was there or I would have cried and left.
Then realised they didn't offer any bags.
Had to walk around looking for someone to give us some bags.

Stuff fell out of the bags at the checkout.
Cans rolled on the floor.
People staring, music playing, fluorescent lights humming.

Just kill me now.

The main problem is that it was the same company that I used when I had my flat in another city. It looked the same in general and I kept thinking that's where I was, but the layout was different and nothing was where I thought it should be. It was huge enough to be a department store bigger than Walmart because they sold clothing and houseware stuff at one side. Going back and forth and up and down the aisles especially looking for the FFFF butter was ridiculous.

Couldn't find a head of lettuce at all. The Romaine was brown. Gave up on that. Bell peppers were puckered. Rye bread was $7 for 6 slices. Couldn't find our normal milk anywhere so grabbed one that I thought was just a different brand. At home I realised it's Lactose-Free. That likely doesn't matter but I had no clue. I was so disoriented looking at a wall of milk cartons and none of them were remotely familiar.

I hate it. I pay $7.95 for delivery most of the time and I think it's worth it, but MD decided she just HAD to have fresh raspberries while we were driving past the store, and she wanted to go in for a change. I opened my phone app and tried to find everything that was already in my online cart. What a clusterf****.

Raspberries $11 for a half pint.

Rant: Why don't they EVER put extra trolleys or hand baskets in various spots around the store?
Why are they always just at the FRONT DOOR so people's leggings have to fall down in public?

Lol - I totally forgot to say when I found MD she'd already found a different brand of butter somewhere else, so we had two. Then as we went to the checkout we realised we should put one back but we had no idea which one was cheaper / more expensive. She had to guess since we hadn't scanned yet. Apparently she dropped it or something on the way to put it back and it squished out of the foil on the floor. All that time I was standing by the checkout trying to look like I wasn't taking too long, or delaying the other customers by not doing anything since I don't know how.
