I really enjoy Anugama, 7and5, Constance Demby, Deep Forest, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Enya etc etc.

I'm keen to get to know other artists in this genre. What can you recommend?

I am not overly concerned with the 'New Age' label per se. Its the music itself I like and the spiritual aspect is what each of us want to make of it.

I don't really listen to anything that I'd call new age...I do like ambient music though. Right now I like Sigur Ros and Dead Can Dance.

Have you listened to Rasputina, Loreena McKennitt, Hayley Westenra, Zoe Keating, or Black Tape for a Blue Girl?

I also don't mind the music written by Clint Mansell, of Requiem of a Dream fame.

Some of them may not have the spiritual lyrics, but they have an ethereal, classical, feel to them which I like.

It might also be helpful to do a wikipedia search of the bands you really like or a genre, you can usually find a list of similar bands that way. I've done that in the past.

I'm not a big fan of new age music, but I always liked this one:

And this music written around an American Indian chant was also pretty cool:

The piano version of that was on "Pure Moods III." I'm not sure if Ryuichi Sakamoto really counts, but I love his music.

I'm not really a new age fan, but some of the stuff can be pretty good. Here's one of my favorites. Her music is honestly really weird but not all bad.
