It happened several times, that when I would go to a store or place people would think I worked there. Supermarket, Department Store, once at a place selling Christmas trees. When I traveled in my Air Force uniform it happened with foriegners. An English guy thought I was the Captain of the plane one time. Another time while outside a terminal in my long overcoat an Irish guy thought I was a Airport Employee and stopped to ask a question. I was trying to explain I didn't work there but before I had finished a line had formed behind him 3-4 people long.

So not a specific character, just the guy that works there.

As a child, Oscar the Grouch. In high school, I had a teacher call me Data from Star Trek. As an adult, I have been compared to Sheldon Cooper from BBT.
