I think that humans should be allowed to have other humans as pets.

Now you may say "But DarthMetaKnight, isn't that slavery?" No it isn't slavery. Have you ever seen a dog owner force the dog to pick cotton? I haven't.

This could be a good solution for people who are too disabled to work or are too lazy to work - they could become pets.

I must by decades - or perhaps centuries - ahead of my time.

Any pet that's too disabled or lazy to to be useful should be put down or sold.

If they aren't housebroken that may be a problem,and what if they try to hunch your leg and dig in the trash?

So long as it can be housebroken, I'm jiggy wit' it.

Agreed, if it's lazy.

What about mailman problems or car chasing?Can I use a shock collar for these problems?And if they start chasing chickens,well they have to be put down for this.

Why do people own cats then?


They are still human so they will be arrested.

It'll cost more to bail them out of jail than the pound,these sound like pets that might get expensive.They might chew on the furniture,can I beat them with a rolled up newspaper or will I be charged with assault?

You could probably already do that by going into any big city and asking a bum to come live with you. Tell them you'll feed them and give them shelter and medical care and let them lay around all day and do nothing. That's certainly legal. If you are gullible enough to do something like that. What would the difference be in the OP's proposol and that?

Reminds me of a true life documentary I saw the other day. A farmer in America took in vagrants and street bums giving them food, and an outhouse to live in. He did this one vagrant at a time. In exchange it was supposedly for a little help around his farm for which they were paid by cheque (check). It was a scam though. He took out bank accounts in their name supposedly so he could pay employment cheques to them, but instead got his 'employees' to bid for top quality cattle at livestock auctions and for the 'employee' to pay for the cows with a wooden cheque (on the account of the 'employee'). He then sold the cows on pocketing the cash and shot the 'employee', burying him somewhere on the farm. He finally got rumbled after taking in and killing more than ten such vagrants. He ended up on death row. The oldest American man to ever be given the death penalty. As the saying goes - if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't true. So the price of a vagrants life is ... a cow.

Was that a older couple in Missouri that did that?If not ,than its been done at least twice, it may happen more than we realize,creepy.

Because they like cats. But if a cat won't catch and kill mice, it's only as good as a plushy toy.

Is that murderous farmer the same one who's wife made quilts from the vagrants' clothing?
