I hate alcohol; I have a strong distaste for it.

I get a shift beer at work, so lately I've been drinking a lot of Sound Brewery Tripel and Rude Parrot IPA, with the occasional Peroni Italian Pilsner when I'd like something a bit lighter. The bistro owner I work for is really big on the local thing, so I've been tending to drink more local beer recently, when in Rome and all.

I don't drink due to my meds.

How about wine or sake? That stuff's pretty potent if you want to get drunk. Only half a "portion" of sake makes me light headed

I didn't know Peroni was a pilsner.

Water, tea, juice and coffee (decaf now). :)
I like some red wine or light beer sometimes, but I rarely get drunk. On those very VERY rare occasions when I want something stronger, I choose good whiskey or tequila.

Well, great news.
I went to the only gas station that sells beer last night and the only options were budlight, corona, or mike's hard lemonade....so I got the lemonade which supposedly has just as much alcohol as beer.
I drank two"11oz each", I felt nothing, except a small stomach ache, prolly more on the lemonade with to much sugar I think.

So apparently I can't get drunk on beers or the lemonade lied.
I'm so f****d I can't even get drunk properly. Hows that for yah?

I'm not touching Absinthe, I'd like to retain whats left of my sanity.

So hows Jack Daniel's Gentleman Jack, for easing into hard liquor?

I'm fairly limited in what I can actually get.
There is a bar and a bar&grill in town but frankly I have no interest in drinking in public considering.
Otherwise there's the one gas station that sells alcohol, all it has is bud light, corona, and hard lemonade which I now know is worthless.
If I can get a ride into town"40 minutes away" I can go to walmart liquor or another grocery store liquor store.
But I don't know if either of them is going to have anything particularly good, never been in them.

I don't really know much about beer or alcohol in general.

Well, here's a fun fact to think about. If your purpose is to get drunk, you can look forward to waking up in pools of vomit and urine (your own and not your own).

Getting drunk does not always lead to that, however too much alcohol can make for some nasty vomiting...as for the urine not sure where that came from I've never woke up in pools of it after getting drunk.

Soda. I gotta have it. I love it. You can't keep me from it.

I once heard a guy spent his life drinking every beverage out there and he has never had a glass of water. I envy him. Water sucks.
