Forget "God of War". Forget "Uncharted". Forget "Heavy Rain". This is where it's at.

I should have got a PS3 instead of a 360 to start with. It's a better system for JRPG junkies. Heh.

Quite tempted by this. I had a look at more videos and it looks and sounds great!

References to Ghibli films is always a plus!

I already pre-ordered the Limited Edition.

Ill add it to my list. After bio shock and before mass effect trilogy. Due to game prices I wait till it drops $20-$30.

A mashup of Studio Ghibli and Level-5, the studio that did the latest Dragon Quest games and the Dark Cloud series? Surely a perfect combination. It's a day one purchase for me. This is the sort of game that would take me months and months to finish normally, and forget frequently what I'm supposed to be doing on returning to the game. But thankfully I have a month of leave from work through February. Hooray!

I'll be honest and say that I wasn't sold on this game after playing the demo. I seem to be in the minority in that regard. I don't have much experience with Ghibli films either. I know that people who like Ghibli films, like them a lot, and Ni no Kuni seems to be marketed towards that particular fan base, in addition to children. As someone who belongs to neither demographic, I can't say the demo really proved that the full game would appeal to me. However, after seeing the latest episode of Shinkara, I am now sold on it. With that said, I may have to wait a little while on it, since Hyperdimension Neptunia, Atelier Ayesha, Hakuoki: Warriors of the Shinsengumi, Etrian Odyssey IV and Sly 4 are all coming out in the next couple months too, and I'm not made of money. I suppose I could hold off on Sly 4, but I have waited several years for it. All other games on that list are probably going to be hard to find later. I'm sure Ni no Kuni is in the same boat, but I'm sure waiting a couple months on it won't hurt. If all else fails, there is such a thing as Amazon.

After reading several very good reviews on Ni No kuni, and watching videos, i went to the store and bought it for myself, one of the appeals for me was that it has pokemon style monster collecting and ive heard that they can even evolve , i love collecting things, and i love customization of parties. I cant wait to play it later tonight im so happy :)

I find it refreshing how Oliver lives up to pure heart and just wants to help everyone.
