I'm really anxious about going to work tomorrow and don't want to go. Being stressed out for days has also made me feel like I want to drink alcohol, which I'm trying to not do.

I try to tell myself that things won't be that bad, but since I'm so used to experiencing anxiety basically 24/7 my brain refuses to listen sometimes. I hate it. lmao

Yep, I understand, I'm better than I was but sometimes anxiety ruled my life and I believed everything my brain told me even when it was ridiculous :jester: .

I'm too old to have a good job, because employers want younger candidates. Since I don't have a 6-figure salary, I'm trapped in this right-wing s**thole forever.

As far as dating goes, the local scene is almost entirely evangelical Trump supporters with zero libido (because they think sex is evil), plus nobody here has the same interests. The sole remaining female friend I have with the same interests lives over 2,000 miles away and is married.

And on top of that, my favorite restaurant closed permanently.
