-7. Trying really hard to not self harm again. I've been thinking about it all day and can't stop.

I really wish the referral for therapy that my doctor approved would go through already, but the lady on the phone said it can take 2 f*****g months. I'm legitimately worried that I'll kill myself before then, either accidentally or on purpose. I have no idea what to do.

^ I hope you're doing ok, Fairfield.

Is there anything like a Samaritans service in your country; a charity that offers a free 24hr helpline and email service for those struggling with their mental health?

It would be useful to use a service like that whilst you wait for therapy.

What has helped you in the past when you felt this way? (No pressure to respond to this).

I think we might have something like that, I'll try to look into it.

I also don't really know. I haven't felt like how I've been feeling lately in a long time and I don't remember what I did to cope with it (actually, I drank alcohol a lot- lmao but I don't know what else helped or made it stop).

Glad to hear you got through your day today.

I was able to get my meds. I'm glad because I really didn't want to deal with withdrawals...

Would it be ok to post a link for tips on distractions and displacement? It's from a self injury support website. I can PM, if you prefer.

Feeling pretty rough. Abdominal tension and anxiety. Slightly better than earlier but still not great.

Abdominal tension and anxiety. Not had alcohol today. Drunk a lot of Guinness last night.

3. The self-loathing lingers.

Just having a horrendous panic attack. Still up at 4.31am. Back on the Guinness to try and calm myself down. There goes my idea of an alcohol free weekend.. :(
