Now let's go to the infamous "Brain Joke". An atheist teaches that God doesn't exist by saying that he cannot be seen, heard, touched, tasted, smelled, or felt. A student then stands up and confronts the teacher, asking him if he can see, hear, touch, taste, or smell his brain. The teacher responds in the negative to each one, and thus the student announces to the rest of his class that his teacher lacks a brain. Now, assuming the brain does in fact exist, it is true that he can be touched, heard, seen, tasted, and smelled at a later point in time, but at the present time it is true it cannot be tasted, felt, seen, head, or tasted. However, while the brain cannot be directly observed there is still evidence of it's existence as it's effects can be observed. For theists it's the same with God, in their minds they see evidence for the existence of God. Some even claim that they can directly observe God. Thus the whole "God doesn't exist because he cannot be observed" argument falls appart and it's revealed that the real difference between theists and atheists is what they believe to be evidence for the existence of God and whether or not they can observe that.

Wrong. When we talk about brains, we have pictures of brains of other animals or humans, we know what we are talking about by relating to our senses. Same for other scientific experiments.

What is 'God'? We don't have any falsifiable theory of 'God'. No empirical fact will convince an average believer 'God' does not exist. Simply, 'God' really says nothing. The utterance is just nonsense.

Ask the citizens of New York if air exists.

They will all answer: it does, but it is not of top notch quality.

Why do we believe in something that we do not see, we do not taste or smell?

There are many reasons to suppose air exists.
The first one being that our assumption that the air can not be seen is false, when there is fog, or a cloud we can see the air. Furthermore we can observe certain phenomenon like condensation or frost which it is theorized comes out of the air.

There is also a matter of being able to feel air when it is windy outside. The theory behind this feeling is that there are small particles of air pushing against you. Also you can feel the air's temperature just like you can feel the temperature of objects, that gives another clue to its existence.

I am not sure as to whether we can smell the air, its possible we did one point at child birth, but have since gotten so acclimated to the smell we can no longer detect it. However the fact that we can smell, is supposedly evidence that air exists, because as the main theory of air describes smells are particles which are carried through the air.

The same is true for sound. The air does not make any detectable sound on its own, unless its windy, but the fact that we can hear sounds is supposedly evidence for air. The way its understood is sound is a compression wave going through the medium of air, and therefore travels at a certain speed, like any wave through any medium, this wave travels at the speed of sound.

Also it is difficult to explain how airplanes or helicopters fly or birds or insects fly without the existence of air.

There was the discovery of Joseph Priestly, of magnifying mercury II oxide and discovering a gas was emitted which caused candles to burn more brightly, and give mice greater vitality. It was later given the name oxygen and was later theorized that this gas existed in the air and supplied animals vital gas necessary for life. How would you explain the reason behind why we breathe, what function does it serve?

If you can describe all these phenomenon and make scientific predictions without the need for air's existence, feel free to try. If you disprove the existence of air it would be a groundbreaking discovery. You might get the Nobel Prize for something like that.
