The immunoglobulin light chain is the small polypeptide subunit of an antibody (immunoglobulin).
A typical antibody is composed of two immunoglobulin (Ig) heavy chains and two Ig light chains.
The immunoglobulin light chain genes in tetrapods can be classified into three distinct groups: kappa (κ), lambda (λ), and sigma (σ). The divergence of the κ, λ, and σ isotypes preceded the radiation of tetrapods. The σ isotype was lost after the evolution of the amphibian lineage and before the emergence of the reptilian lineage.
Other types of light chains can be found in lower vertebrates, such as the Ig-Light-Iota chain of Chondrichthyes and Teleostei.
Camelids are unique among mammals as they also have fully functional antibodies which have two heavy chains, but lack the light chains usually paired with each heavy chain. The functional role of this separate repertoire is unknown as yet.

Nucleolus - Cellular pathways are established and maintained by stochastic interactions of highly mobile molecules. The nucleolus plays a central role in the regulation of these molecular networks by capturing and immobilizing proteins. Stimuli-specific loci of the nucleolar intergenic spacer produce ncRNA capable of capturing and immobilizing proteins that encode a discrete peptidic code referred to as the nucleolar detention sequence (NoDS). Disruption of the NoDS/intergenic RNA interaction enables proteins to evade nucleolar sequestration and retain their dynamic profiles. Mislocalization of intergenic ncRNA triggers protein immobilization outside of the nucleolus, demonstrating that these ncRNA species can operate independently from the nucleolar architecture.

-----The strongest bulwark of authority is uniformity; the least divergence from it is the greatest crime. The wholesale mechanisation of modern life has increased uniformity a thousandfold. It is everywhere present, in habits, tastes, dress, thoughts and ideas. Its most concentrated dullness is "public opinion." Few have the courage to stand out against it. He who refuses to submit is at once labelled "queer," "different," and decried as a disturbing element in the comfortable stagnancy of modern life.
Perhaps even more than constituted authority, it is social uniformity and sameness that harass the individual most. (emma goldman quotes)

I read that contrary to popular belief, spring and early summer is when the suicide rate is the highest and not winter. I can totally understand why. Spring and summer are just depressing because the weather is never as "perfect" as everyone seems to think it will be every year. Spring is still cold, damp, grey for days on end, everything outside looks pale and sickly, and when the snow melts all I see is garbage and litter everywhere. The other day I saw that some had gathered up a big, tidy bundle of sticks and loose branches but they didn't touch the garbage that was all over the place. I guess because the sticks and branches can be useful. I even read about a 13 year old girl the other day who was being bullied, even threatened with a knife, just for picking up litter. Why are so many humans such scum bags??
And then summer comes, and when the sun does come out I'm afraid to go out in it because I have very fair skin like I have Micheal Jackson disease or something, and I'm scared of getting sunburned, and I hate the way sunscreen feels. You can get a bad burn even when it's overcast in summer. Sweating feels really gross, too. Last summer I slept on the couch in the living room for several days because the living room is cooler and I have an air conditioner in there. I'm afraid to walk anywhere because I could get burned or get heatstroke and I just know I'm going to get skin cancer. I don't understand how so many people think they're indestructible and can go out in the sun with no protection at all and think a tan is *good* for their skin. In some cultures people think being tanned is unattractive because it means you're a peasant slaving out in the sun out all day. I think people who are really tanned are lowly peasants, but I do think they're going to get skin cancer and premature wrinkles. You'd think people would care about the wrinkles if they're so concerned about their superficial appearance.
TL/DR: Spring and summer are overrated because spring weather sucks and the litter that was under the snow, and summer it's too hot, and hot weather and bright sunlight is dangerous.

My mom grew up in a country where it's very much summer for the entire year.
When it is winter, she often says "It's too cold!"
When it is summer, she often says, "It's too hot!"
My mom has been a US citizen since 1983, so will someone please explain
why my mom still won't accept the fact that she can't control the weather?
(Really Mom, really? )

Oval racing involves a similar level of skill as road racing even if it doesn't quite use the same skill set.
Reducing it to just turning left is the same as admitting to not knowing enough to have an informed opinion to express.

I would make it a crime to "make a video post something that can be expressed entirely in text".
I hate when a video takes longer than the time it would have taken to just read the content.

If abortion is murder, then miscarriage must be manslaughter. All women who have miscarried should be charged with manslaughter, even if they absolutely wanted the baby and are devastated. And especially if they didn't want the baby but since abortion is murder or outlawed they're glad that they miscarried.
Not really. That's just what I can't help thinking whenever pro-life people say it's murder the first nine months but after the baby is born they couldn't care less, and baby could end up in a dumpster or abused and neglected.
Nobody has a "right" to be happy
Just because someone is not *happy*, doesn't mean that someone violated their "rights". However, plenty of precious lil "people" sure do act like it
Just because "most people" do something, doesn't make it morally justified. The solar system contains more defendants convicted of murder, than Nobel prize winners in literature. The activity with greater participants, not always morally superior, to the activity with fewer participants.
Too much enthusiasm is as bad as too little enthusiasm. (Quota and limit)
Happiness is not magical or special
Sad is not a catastrophe
Anger is not a felony
Happiness is not superior to any other emotion
"Thin line between love and hate". Love and hate are not opposites. For example, if you love something or someone, you waste a lot of time and energy, thinking about it. A couple of weeks ago, two homeless appeared to be wrestling at the parking lot where I am a slave. They could not have been closer together unless they were having sex. One of them fell down on the ground. The one standing up's pants fell down and you could see his backside and penis. (If a witness saw it out of context, it would look like rape or consensual sex. It would not look like a Greco Roman wrestling tournament). Some precious lil "people" act attached to love and happiness; and aversion to hatred and sadness. But love and hate are pretty much the same thing
