Hi all,

I was recently diagnosed with Non-verbal Learning Disorder, but feel that this may be the tip of the iceberg....after numerous real-life experiences, discussions with my husband (who's very much an NT), and some research, I feel that it's time to dig deeper.

I'm working on trying to find a way to get tested to be sure.....so many stories I've read, discussions on mannerisms, etc. point to exactly what I've been dealing with.
The NVLD diagnosis has come a bit later in life, but better than never.

Anyone find that stressors in life tend to exacerbate the inner fight to retain some kind of "normal" appearance? (Maybe that's why I feel drained all the time...)

Thanks...

Welcome! I hope you have a good experience here.
And, yes, I personally find it hard to appear 'normalish' when stressed. And I'm stressed by things other people have no problem with...
