People are actually losing sleep - unable to eat - contemplating suicide over this idiocy?
I think some people are going to feel awfully stupid when the sun doesn't switch off, then on again!

Not "people" Rather stupid superstitious people. In CHristian Europe something like that happened just before the year 1000 on the Christian calendar. There is something about the zeros or or three nines (000 or 999) on the dial that makes many people become mentally unbalanced.

I NEVER bought this 2012 BS to begin with; it will be nice to wake up on the 22nd of December and see lots of egg on the faces who believed in any of this.

These morons don't realize that they're getting their information from a race of people who used to take part in routine drug enemas. That should say alot about their credibility.

Wait, if the Mayans were druggies and thought up on this theory, that explains why a lot of Americans believe in it. Face it, we're druggies and if anything, that's what's gonna land us into nuclear disaster on the morning of 12//21/12. The guy in charge of the nukes will probably accidentally set off a nuke on North Korea who will set off a nuke on us, then our allies nuke blah blah blah!! !! :x

It amazes me that with the utter lack of any valid evidence to support claims related to the non-existent "Mayan Doomsday Prophesy" ( :roll: ), anyone would still believe it.
